Okay, it's been a while since I played Final Fantasy VIII, but I do not remember it ever being mentioned that the Lionheart allows the user to switch between different fire settings. The weapon been know more often with out the space anyway.
This maybe not important, but should this article be move to just Lionhart with out the space. I'm gonna go ahead and remove all instances of this uncited information until it's properly sourced. Until SquareEnix publishes an official measurement of Squall's weapons we can't be guessing them so the length of the Revolver and the Lionheart should be removed. You claimed you had official sources to the Lionheart's length but the information you supplied is based on original research( ) so it's invalid unlike, for example, the official source of Squall's height ( ). For example, you shouldn't extrapolate Squall's shoe size or the size of his Griever pendant from the toy exactly because it is just a toy. If so, that's the problem: Just because the toys are "official", it doesn't mean attributes of the toys are as well. I assume you took the actual size of the weapons as from the proportion of the toys and the official height of the character. I'd very much like to see these official sources and/or mathematical equations since a google search shows this page is the only one that makes a mention of this ( ). It seems very improbable (but not impossible) that it's bigger than him, so I checked the videos some more and made some rough comparisons /img254/654/lionheartsizenq9.jpg, the white lines are the size of the sword in each screen, I tried to overestimate it a bit but the sword always seems a bit shorter than him. Zolo, my sources are official square merchandise. Also in all battle appearances the gunblades are held at such an angle that it is difficult to get an accurate measurement. If you have a problem with this being too 'surreal' please refer to Cloud's Buster Sword or Sephiroth's katana. There have been such comparisons and mathematical equations made to support this. Compare its length (in any media aside from Kingdom Hearts) to Squall.
The sword is as tall as Squall? I don't think so. It says Squall's Lionheart is 176.3 cm long.
